Kadens Christmas party!!!

The last week before school ended for Christmas break, Kaden had a christmas program where he sang and then we went back for cookies and juice. He did pretty good. I think he actually gets a little shy up in front of people. he loved to eat all the cookies and frost them!!!!

Whitneys choir concert!

Last week on thursday the 18th, Whitney had a Christmas choir concert. It was one of the best concerts we have ever been to. Some of the solo and duet acts were far beyond what a middle schooler should sound like. For the most part, some of them sounded straight from American Idol...no kidding. It was amazing. To end it, they sang with an electric guitar for the final song. It was awesome...Good job Whitney and all of the choirs.

Christmas in Indiana..

Last week Sunday December 14, Dan and all the family went down to Aunt Bonnies house to have Christmas with Grandma Moore and all of Mom C's family. Everyone was there except of course me who was working like a mad woman. Everyone had a great time and the trip was enjoyable....

We were watching TV the tonight and the commercial with the tennis star came on where she was selling a camera. The people would ask "do you mind" (referring to taking a picture) and she would say no and then they would take a picture of her dog. Well, her dog is a pomaranian just like Oliver and we are always having people tell us how beautiful and gorgeous our dog is so....YES...you can take a picture...

Whitney is in sixth grade basketball right now. Dan and Rob Brezina are her coaches. She has a lot of fun. She is very aggressive and shots a lot. She has a great future with Fruitport for basketball. Here are some of her teammates.

Kadens first tooth!!!

Kaden lost his first tooth today. He was eating a waffle, said "Leah, theres blood on my finger". I looked in his mouth and there it was bleeding all around his tooth. I touched it, wiggled it, and he said "ouch"; then I sneakly said, "just let me look at it and see how loose it is". Well, we all know what happened....yank..i got it!

Well, it has started already...the goofy teenager in Whitney...she has such good friends and has such a good school right now. I am so very happy for her. these pictures were taken at a slumber party she went to a few weekends ago...i found them on her phone and downloaded them..(don't tell her) so i can use these for blackmail when she graduates!!! anyway, here are some of her friends....

Kadens hockey...

Kaden is playing "real" hockey now. He plays every monday and saturday for an hour each day...(which is good because i become an snowman after 30 min. in the cold rink), anyway, last week Kaden scored his first goal! Yeah!!! he absolutely loves to skate and i think we have a hockey player on our hands...Go Kaden!!!

last saturday was guys night and girls night...whitney and i went to a movie "twilight", and dan and kaden went to the lumberjacks hockey game...they had a good time...whitney and I loved the movie and enjoyed some "together" time..love ya

Kaden got his hair cut for the millionith time a couple days ago, but he decided to be silly while he was in the chair, so i had to snap a picture and send it to his dad who was working...he had a good time that day...bet it was the slushie i got him before he went to get his hair cut...

the halloween weekend at grandma and grandpa included a football game that the cousins played...i think that the girls out ran the boys, but they are churchills and they wont admit it!!! the kids had a lot of fun...it was cold, but fun!

Kadens last football game was played in front of one of his favorite uncles...Uncle B! He was congratulated by "scratching Uncle B's back"....it was really nice of him to come and see the game...

halloween night we went through 17 bags of candy...and two of those bags were 150 pieces....it was fun...i love seeing the kids faces when they get some candy that they really like...

this past halloween was fun. Kaden received a SCREAM costume, Whitney was a bunny and Brittany was a flight attendent. We had a party at Kadens school. The kids all had very unique costumes and it was a lot of fun....lots of candy!!!

This past week was the week of Halloween...we carved pumpkins and made sugar cookies on Tuesday of the halloween week...they were really scary and the trick or treaters loved the pumpkins on halloween!!!

this past weekend....

this past weekend we had our family halloween party up north at mom and dad Churchills...it was soooooo much fun...although, sleeping in a room with my brother in law after eating chili isn't the highlight of the weekend...although my husband was on the other side of me and you would have thought he had chili also....anyway, the kids had a blast. The older ones played poker and football (pictures to come later) and the little ones played lots of games and had fun...we watched a so called scary movie (not so much) and I won at the card game screw your neighbor...it was a lot of fun...we have such a wonderful family...i am very proud to be part of it!

Yes...we too enjoyed the weekend....(mom Carol, me, Amy, and Nancy) our other sister in law; Amy had to work...we really missed her!!!

Whitneys choir concert!

Last week tuesday, Whitney had a choir concert at the school. It was the 6th through the 8th grade choir concert. Whitney had a good time and she enjoyed herself. She was standing by her bestest friend, Cassidy and they both sang extremely well. I guess for the Christmas concert she sings a solo...more to come!!!

the braces are off!!!!

After six years...the braces are off!!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!! Brittany finally got her braces off yesterday...she is so happy. She looks like a totally different kid. She loves it because now she can eat all those foods she wasnt suppose to eat and not feel guilty about it! (right, like you think that stopped her from chewing gum or eating caramel) anyway..she is soooooooo excited right now. I am very happy for her. She has a clear retainer, but its ok..you can hardly tell....

The braces are really apparent in this picture with her friend, Kaylynn, who got her braces off last year!!!

while we were at Lewis Farms...we went out to the pumpkin patch...we got sooooo many pumpkins and hardly spent any money...it was fun to walk through the patch and find that special pumpkin!!!
