Well...i know they wont admit it, but both of these two kids love each other to pieces..whitney gets a little annoyed as she should because kaden is a total stinker to her...but all in all, these kids are so good together...whitney helps kaden out, and kaden helps whitney out...they have a great bond....

BABY!!!

Our friends; Amy and Chad Nowicki had a baby girl 2 weeks ago. Her name is Josalynn Nowicki. She was 7"14 ounces and 21 inches long and was born at 7:21am. Amy worked the night before and said she had a back ache all night...go figure..went into "real" labor around 5am..yep.only 2 hours of labor...you stink Amy!!! congratulations...love ya tons...

Captains dinner

The second evening on the ship was dress nice night. No one was allowed in the restaurant unless you were dressed nicely for the captain. The captain walked around and introduced himself and talked with everyone...of course..we didnt get to because we were a little late getting to dinner. The boys were swimming. Anyway. it was nice to have a good dinner like that. The kids were on their best behavior..so to speak. We had a very nice family portrait taken, we have that framed and in our living room. We got to eat lobster, crab, and anything else you couldnt afford to eat if you were going out to a restaurant. I of course at the lobster. It was huge and very delicious. Dan had prime rib.

While on our cruise Whitney wanted to get a tattoo...i said yes; I guess, and she talked me into it...she said it didnt hurt that much...just kidding..it was an airbrush tattoo..it was suppose to stay on for a least a week, and of course it was gone after the first shower...it was pretty though. She picked it out and everything.. she has very good taste...

Freeport, Bahamas

While on vacation; the cruise part of it, we had a one day stop at Freeport, Bahamas. We didnt stay very long. We were very unimpressed. The beach was beautiful, but you couldnt relax because there were too many people coming up to you asking to braid your hair or buy something...it really was annoying. It makes us all appreciate what we have and take for granted in the U.S.A.

Sunset!!

On the cruise we had the most beautiful sunsets you could imagine. Im sure there were beautiful sunrises also, but we were to tired to get up and watch them...we were lazy. In this picture you can see another ship behind us going to another destination. We passed many ships during our cruise. But like I said....the sunsets were absolutely gorgeous...

On our cruise Kaden did a lot of interesting things. He was always busy. He was in the Carnival kids club which gave him an activity any time he wanted one. He also enjoyed the waterslide..pretty much the whole time it was open...he swam in the pool and sat in the hot tub with all the little kids (sometimes there were 20 kids in the hot tub) and he loved to dance on the stage to the live band that played during the day.

Clearwater beach

One of the days we were in Florida; we went to Clearwater Beach...we had an absolute blast..it was soooo hot and beautiful..the beach was packed to the max...we all went into the water, it was a little cold, but we didnt much care... on our way home we ate at the authentic Joes Crab Shack..it was the best seafood i have ever eaten...we had a great day...

Spring Break 2009

For our spring break this year we went to Florida to stay at mom and dad Churchills for a few days, and then we took a cruise to the bahamas for the other half..we took the Carnival Sensation boat to Freeport, Bahamas; and Nassau, Bahamas. We had a lot of fun..here are some views from our boat of how beautiful it was....

Lego houses!!!

Last night Alyssa stayed the night because the girls didnt have school today. Last night Kaden brought out his legos and all three of them went to town..literally..they built houses and stores and everything..this morning the girls woke up and built two big houses...they were so proud of them we had to take a picture and throw it on the blog!!!!

Last night Dan, Kaden, Jake, Larry, Brezina and Mike went to the Griffins hockey game. The Griffins played the Rockford Ice Hogs and won 3-1. The guys had a great time and enjoyed the game....

Whitney and the girls...

Pretty much all winter Whitney has been hanging with her friends. I guess that is what teenagers do....we all did it. Every weekend she has a posse of friends over or is at their house. Most of the time they are here which is great with me. The girls are all so sweet and nice and they get a long. It is fun to listen to all the giggles and "boy" talk...poor Kaden..he gets stuck in the middle, but dont feel too bad for him, he hangs right in with them and they all love it!!!!

Civil War re-enactment!

While Dan and Kaden were in Florida they visited a Civil War re-enactment show. Kaden enjoyed it a lot. He got to ride a horse and play a flute which he bought but accidently got broken...anyway, it was a lot of fun for both of the guys.

Early on in the middle of January Kaden and Dan took my mom and dad to Florida with them. While they were in Florida Dan and Kaden took a trip to Disney World. They had a great time. They didnt have to wait in too long of lines and the weather was perfect for them. They didnt get to swim, but it wasnt too hot in the park. They had a great time....
