this past weekend....

this past weekend we had our family halloween party up north at mom and dad Churchills...it was soooooo much fun...although, sleeping in a room with my brother in law after eating chili isn't the highlight of the weekend...although my husband was on the other side of me and you would have thought he had chili also....anyway, the kids had a blast. The older ones played poker and football (pictures to come later) and the little ones played lots of games and had fun...we watched a so called scary movie (not so much) and I won at the card game screw your neighbor...it was a lot of fun...we have such a wonderful family...i am very proud to be part of it!

Yes...we too enjoyed the weekend....(mom Carol, me, Amy, and Nancy) our other sister in law; Amy had to work...we really missed her!!!

Whitneys choir concert!

Last week tuesday, Whitney had a choir concert at the school. It was the 6th through the 8th grade choir concert. Whitney had a good time and she enjoyed herself. She was standing by her bestest friend, Cassidy and they both sang extremely well. I guess for the Christmas concert she sings a solo...more to come!!!

the braces are off!!!!

After six years...the braces are off!!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!! Brittany finally got her braces off yesterday...she is so happy. She looks like a totally different kid. She loves it because now she can eat all those foods she wasnt suppose to eat and not feel guilty about it! (right, like you think that stopped her from chewing gum or eating caramel) anyway..she is soooooooo excited right now. I am very happy for her. She has a clear retainer, but its ok..you can hardly tell....

while we were at Lewis Farms...we went out to the pumpkin patch...we got sooooo many pumpkins and hardly spent any money...it was fun to walk through the patch and find that special pumpkin!!!

Lewis Farms

Last sunday the weather was perfect for a trip to Lewis Farms. As a family; we pet some animals, walked the large corn maze, jumped, ate, and got pumpkins. It was such a beautiful day and we had a great time...

Well...every homecoming week has a powderpuff game...any of course Brittany being the athletic one...was one of the captains and a defensive player...she was actually pretty good out there...she needed some pads and she could have passed on the varsity team...just kidding. The juniors ended up beating the seniors 14-12..the seniors of course didn't take this so lightly and are asking for a rematch in the snow and the spring...it will happen..good job juniors! and Brittany!

Well...they got us..that would be the Orchard View varsity football team...i guess it is only fair because Brittany got all of them two nights in a row...thursday and friday...they actually did a pretty good job...except they put syrup on my dads van which made me a little mad...otherwise it was funny and pretty good!

This past week was Fruitports homecoming week. Everyday there is a different dress up day....yesterday was crazy dress day...and there she is...crazily dressed. Whitney had a lot of fun during this week and now is on her way to the homecoming game...(i think i should get off this so i can go too...)

field trip

Last friday Oct. 3, Kadens kindergarten class went on a field trip to Teusinks Pony Farm. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a lot of fun. We feed the animals, saw exotic birds, went on a hayride and rode a pony. All the kids had a great day.

missing summer!!!

it is only the beginning of fall and already i am missing summer...instead of spending my off days laying on the beach; now i am spending them inside under a blanket..time to get those books polished off...i do enjoy fall days when its 60 and the sun is up and your walking around a pumpkin patch..that is fun...we will be doing that this weekend. so enjoy fall and think about summer for next year!
